I record JUST because I love books and love reading them out loud! I mostly don’t get paid for it (although I have begun to record commercial audiobooks, and I also provide general voice-over services, please see my Voice Services page for more information and rates!)
However, I do spend a lot on books (generally the forlorn ones on the bottom shelves in the backroom of secondhand bookshops) and there’s some spending on microphones and on acoustic foam and hosting for this site … and … and …
